Lord God Almighty, we commit  Mother Joan into your care and safekeeping during this Sabbatical.  Let her walk worthy of you Lord, pleasing you by being fruitful in every good work.  Strengthen her and release your righteousness, peace and joy into her life.  May your ministering angels watch over her so that no evil will befall her.  Surround her with your loving care and bring her back to us in safety and renewed in the Spirit.  

We ask for your blessing upon Fr. Tim.  Give him the spirit of wisdom and revelation to guide us during this sabbatical time.  Strengthen him and the people here at Christ Church with power by your Spirit and fill us all with your fullness, grace and love.  Help us Lord to see that we are one body in you and to preserve the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.  

And Lord, direct us during this Sabbatical with your glorious favor and with your continual help; that all we do may be to your glory through Jesus Christ our Lord.  Amen
